Flowers of the Week: Cupid's Chokehold

I went with Valentines day colors to add a bit more festivity to the ambiance of the house. I think gerberas *may* be my favorite flower, I just love them!
Right!? Does it get any more perfect then this!??

These are red but came out orange in the pictures.
In my planter boxes, which were an idea I copied from The Lettered Cottage. The boxes were purchased at Home Goods.

I just love fresh flowers =)

    I love the planter box idea... I think you just inspired me for a little DIY project for my kitchen!

  5. I have SOOO many vases around the house left over from the wedding, funny stuff.

    Jaime - go to ebay and seach "herb nesting crates" there are some for sale for $42. :)

  6. Looks great Amber! Ya know, I saw those on the LC months ago when I first found that blog and I went to look at her shop again about a month ago and I couldn't find her shop. I actually emailed her about it and Layla never replied back :(

    I bet they would be a super easy DIY!!

  7. SO pretty! I've recently started buying fresh flowers for myself again. I used to do it all the time, but sadly stopped. Fresh flowers make me so happy, and I look forward to this post of yours every week!
