Flowers of the Week: So Fresh, So Clean

I love having fresh, in season flowers around the house. They help illustrate the season in a fresh and clean way. I used mine this week to help add some ambiance to my Easter and Spring Decor.

I was so excited when last week Lynn from Beautiful Things and EHayes from Strawberry Swing and other Things both posted flowers of the week and gave me a shutout as the inspiration!! I was so happy to see to see the flower love around the blog world. I really enjoyed seeing your flowers ladies!!

  2. LOL tips? I am no flower expert I probably should learn more about how to care for flowers

I usually just let the flowers roll for the week. I buy new ones every Sunday, or every Saturday when it is Farmers market season(only a few weeks away!). If the flowers last the week and still seem alive I will try to extend their life. But Really I just buy the flowers throw them in a vase and enjoy them while they last. I should really review my Martha mags for some tips

I also just throw them in a vase and watch them slowly wilt and die haha... I try to change the water, but I don't know if I'm doing it too much, not enough, too cold, too luke warm, am I talking too much, are they talking enough, am I interested I'm not really interested, should I play like I'm interested but I'm not that interested but I think she might be interested but do I want to be interested but now she's not interested?

    bahaha sorry, couldn't resist.....

  6. Pretty! I love buying flowers to brighten up the house in spring. And I do the same thing, they just live in the vase until they're all wilty and unattractive. Then on to new ones.
