Looking Ahead: March

March is here and that means two things for me. I will consume a lot of Popsicles this month - my tonsillectomy is scheduled for the 14th.

And once I recover I will be venturing to Arizona to watch my Boys of Summer at Spring Training.

  3. I'm joining you in the ice cream diet in March. I've got my wisdom teeth coming out March 17th. Then when I'm recovered I'm going away with my mom for a weekend for some girl time. (And then shortly there after, I've got the Red Sox home opener!)

  4. Go Giants!

March brings me two road trips back to Southern California for a niece's birthday, two weddings and a reunion with my college friends and roommates! I am so excited to be around familiar faces and good friends again, I can hardly wait. And when I get back to SF, it'll be to a brand new apartment, a new side gig and hopefully, warm sunny weather in the city!

    Cheers.

  7. I hope your tonsillectomy and recovery are as quick and painless as possible! And those popsicles look ridiculously good - I OD'd on sorbet when I had my wisdom teeth out a couple of years ago!

  8. DON'T EAT ANY CHOCOLATE PUDDING FOR LIKE A MONTH AFTER SURGERY. I had my tonsils out in 1998 and I still remember that excruciating pain :(

  14. I love the first picture. I cannot believe March is already here. SO much going on but mostly work.
I am glad you are all set with your tonsillectomy, I am sure you will stop getting sick once those tonsils are out.

  15. I had my tonsils out 2 years ago and lemme tell you-- you will need a full 10days- 2 weeks of recovery time. Eat popsicles before meals-- it will help other food go down. No straws! And don't drink anything acidic like orange juice. OUCH. The occasional ginger ale helps to clear out the phlem. Chicken or veggie broth is useful and keep up with your fluids. I had to get an IV after 4 days. AND! If you feel nauseous and sick all the time, contact your doctor. I felt AWFUl and it turned out I wasn't reacting well to the pain killers and antibiotics. They took me off those and I felt sooo much better.
