Get Your Pretty On : RA_Beauty Bar

Going to salon always makes me super happy! Whether it's wearing a robe, getting your hair washed and played with, talking to your stylist as if they are a pseudo-therapist, and of course, feeling and fresh pretty at the end. 

This week I had the opportunity to check out RA_Bar Beauty when they hosted their Holiday beauty event. RA_Beauty just celebrated it's 1 year anniversary and was opened by a group of super sweet girlfriends, which is totally inspiring. Tucked away in the heart of West Hollywood, it's hidden entrance off the main drag is perfect for A-List celebrities (or anyone who wants the celeb treatment) to discretly enter through the private garden into the Salon.

With a variety of services offered RA_Bar beauty is the perfect place to get your pretty on! Plus the  the owners and staff are the sweetest; just what you want for a day of getting beautified! I immediately felt welcomed when I was greeted with hugs by the staff. They set me up for a Blow Out and eyebrow touch up.

I loved the Kevin Murphy products the salon uses, and was grateful to be able to take some home to hold me over till my next blow out. And the Eye Brow Touch up and Tint service was awesome! I have dark eyebrows already but taking them a shade darker really made my eyes pop! I'm obsessed.

I had such a wonderful day at RA_Bar Beauty and I feel ready to take on the Holiday season. Thank you so much RA_Beauty and EMC Bowery (SHOUT OUT TO SHAE SAVIN!) for having me. I am so grateful for the awesome day of beauty and generosity! And i can't wait to pay it forward this holiday season and go out and spread joy and happiness.

family is a major key in my life. i wouldn't be where i am without them. they made me into the human i am today. i am i forever grateful for the amazing family i have and the connection we share.
in march 2016 our family expanded. my sister Andrea and her husband Dustin gave birth to a BEAUTiFUL baby girl, Aurora.

it's been an amazing 8 months watching Aurora grow & learn. And even cooler to see my sister and brother in law GROW (morph) into parents. and my parents are more then happy to become grandparents. and i couldn't be prouder to be Aurora's only blood related aunt. it's been such a cool experience!! I am so grateful for it all, its changed my world & perspective.

but you know ... i'm not gonna lie it sure makes me wanna get on that reproduction game. but i being an aunt is the next best thing because being around a young developing human is SO cool! You can see the world through brand new eyes when a baby is experiencing the same world you exist in.

For thanksgiving my mom, sister, brother in law & niece all went to Hawaii to celebrate all that we are thankful for and it was such radical trip!! Aurora loved the water and the sand. She a beach baby for sure. Plus her happy smile and laughter brings so much joy to the world. She inspires me to be happy all the time!! I am SO grateful to have spent the week in hawaii with Aurora.

I am also beyond grateful for my family and i can't wait for the future and see my family expand even more! and i can't wait to watch Aurora grow into the human she becomes! The future looks pretty bright !! & looking ahead to where you wanna be and who you want to grow into is always KEY. like major.

A miracle is an event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin or an act of God. The universe  and god blesses us with miracles all the time & it is our job to discover them. Stars are constantly aligning and miracles can happen when you least expect them to.

Recently stars were aligned at the Philosophy Miracle Worker Product launch hosted by Ellen Pompeo. Ellen and Philosophy partnered in the #Coolager campaign to promote positive conversations about aging. Ellen and the Philosophy Hope and Grace initiative donated $10,000 to the LA based Avia Family and children's services, to help create miracles for families in need.

Christina Millian, Garcelle Beauvais, Mario Lopez and Morgan Stewart were among other miracle workers to help promote the Coolager campaign. From the Vespa and wind machine photobooth to the #Coolager Ice Bar, the event was the perfect setting to promote Miracle Workers and #Coolagers.

And to top it off the product it's self is amazing! And I love seeing the word Miracle during my daily skincare routine. It reminds me that miracles are out there, and to be open my heart to them and the miracle workers  i encounter in my life. Thanks so much for having us Philosophy! Talent Resource's ESPY's Luxury Lounge

I am a huge sports fan. I grew up watching them and cheering them on. Whether it was Montana or Steve Young with the Niners or Jordan and the Bulls; I have fond memories of being mesmerized by the greats.
I just love how watching sports can bring people together and excite them. Being a posts fan is a conversation starter, and it's a badge of honor to root for your home town team and favorite athletes.

The ESPYS are a time to put our favorite athletes front and center and thank them for touching out lives and for sharing their passions with the world. Great athletes show us what dedication and determination can bring. And that deserves special recognition.

Yesterday at The Talent Resource's Luxury Lounge at The James Goldstein Estate athletes and guests like Adrianne Balion, Josh Peck, NBA Player David Lee, NFL Running Back Eddie Lacy, Chuck Liddel, Mario Lopez and Jeff Adrien were treated to cologne by Ralph Lauren Fragrance, apparel by RNL Let Loose, perks from JetSmarter, services by PRIV, InBody, and Hornitos In honor of the ESPYS.
