Just finishing up my last minute details. Using paper scraps from other crafts I made conffetti and party hats. Hope my niece Anne loves her party. I myself, cannot wait =)

I am going put potted flowers in the thank you pots. I wanted to give pretty favors that would also be useful, who doesn't love potted flowers?

I made the invites tonight. A little late but everyone who knew was invited already knew the date, I just like formalities =).
I stole the design idea from lovelydesign. She has really cute crafty ideas. I really did a bad job on covering up details, lol. Sorry, I ruined it and then didn't want to re-upload . You get the idea...

Another Confession..

of a shopaholic . I love to shop, so periodically I will be posting some of my favorite purchases.

I am loving Elizabeth and James right now, the details are just so charming, and they make the simplest pieces exciting. I had this skirt in my cart at Nordstrom. I was trying to hold off on spring purchases as long as possible, but when the skirt dissappeared I was pretty upset. When my friend Nicole purchased hers I remebered how much I had loved the skirt. Luckiley it popped back up in my size and I ordered it with the urging of my good friend Wendy. I am so glad I ordered it, another wonderful E&J purchase.

Getting ready for the party!

I am hosting a birthday party for my niece Anne on the 28th. I've been known to slack but I have been working hard to get all the details ready for the party so I'm not stressing the day of the party. I don't plan on having kids yet so I am excited to be able to host something like a birthday party now, thanks Rebecca for letting me host the party =)

When I was at Michaels browsing for party supplies, I came across this Martha Stewart hanging pom pom kit for $20.00. I googled directions on my blackberry (I am a google/blackberry addict) and found directions to make your own. So I picked up some tissue paper instead of the kit and made mine own in about 10 minutes. I am pretty pleased with how they turned out. CW isn't so happy about having pink pom poms hanging in our house for the next week and a half.

I also switched all my pictures to pictures of Anne, in her honor. I like to switch my pictures seasonally, so right now Anne is the star on our mantel.

Yes. I really do have notebooks.

Alright! I really do have notebooks. I write in notebooks to remember thought's, ideas or just random things. I figured it was about time to bring my notebook to the internet. This blog will be my electronic notebook filled with random (probably boring) thoughts, ideas, and random things I find worthy enough to blog about. Since I'm addicted to searching online now I can easily recall (via search tool!) my thoughts without flipping though random notebooks. We shall see how long this lasts...


By the way this is the only JS notebook, and it has been collecting dust the last couple years. Ohh I know what you were thinking Erynn and Wendy! ;)
