Look of the Day: It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want To

I wrote this post yesterday but apparently I never pressed publish.
Thank you for all my birthday wishes!!

When I was little I used to cry the night before my birthday because I would never be that age again. Strange, I know. Most kids probably felt like it was Christmas Eve the night before their birthday but no, I was the child reflecting that I would never ever be Seven again. Perhaps that is why I had to step outside during my small birthday celebration with my family yesterday. Maybe I needed to cry because yesterday was in fact the last day I would be 27. Or maybe it the culmination of me feeling sorry for myself (which we found out can be cured by purchasing a fun dress). In any case I needed a little cry before I went back inside to eat cake, open presents, watch the Giants win and toast to my health and birthday. After all that excitement my cry was long behind me, so were my thoughts of reflecting on my 27th year.

Here's to year 28 and all it may hold for me.

Shoes have been something that I haven't really needed much of recently. Although Chloe recommenced I pick up some bunny slippers.

I was able to blow out all 28 candles, even with a hole in my lung.

Yay for the Giants sweeping the A's, days warm enough to wear dresses and birthday eves.

Opening Day

Baseball begins this week and I cannot wait. I started my week off watching C play some Sunday Softball. My mom, Dad Micheal and I watched a few games in the the sun today. Which was nice since I was cooped up in a classroom all day yesterday. I am defiantly need a telephoto lens for game days, this one just doesn't cut it. After watching all the games today I am pretty amped up for the Giants opening day! Go Giants!

Blessed

I have a fabulous sister in law, who I love so very much. We had a very fun time antiquing today. We found many wonderful treasures. I found so many vintage hats I loved, and modeled, maybe too much hat modeling. I think I need some more hats in my life. I left only with this awesome Easter egg stand for $4 that I cannot wait to fill with eggs! Thanks so much Rebecca, we have to go back next time I am there. XOXO
