Look of the Day: Mosquito Catcher

If someone told you your outfit resembled a mosquito net, how would you feel?

On Saturday I had an engagement party to attend. And I wanted to wear anything but typical. That's why this Millau dress from LF stores made the cut. Paired with a radical pair of Sam Eldelmen Zoyla Booties (a Marshall's find) I was pretty excited about the look. Thank you Jackie for helping me put it together!

And when I gotten asked what was up with my mosquito net, I was ecstatic.
Those are the compliments I like the best -- the ones that make people question or think about what I am wearing.

LDB? Yes. Ordinary? No.

I knotted the dress to give if it some shape.

Look of the Day: Pretty In Pink

My is weekend was full of a little football and a lot of baseball {Go GIANTS}. But before all the baseball madness began I wore a pink flowy dress. I'm glad I wore it when I did because on Sunday it finally felt that fall arrived here in the Bay Area.

It may finally be time to upack my fall and winter clothes and boots. I am excited to wear cozy sweaters, leather jackets and boots! Until then I relished in bare legs and dresses.

You know I love dresses with pockets.

Look of the Day: A Pocket for Corduroy

Thursday is Casey's softball night, so I took the opportunity to hang out with two of my best friends, Mandy and Jen. We went out to a local brewery to celebrate the Giants win (woo-hoo) and enjoyed some time together. We even tried to get the one man show to play Lisa Loeb--didn't happen.

For our girls night, I rocked one of my favorite shirts. I have worn this LF stores shirt on several occasions but for some reason it has skirted the camera and has never made the blog. So here she is. It's got a enough going on that it holds it own in an outfit. Mandy likened it to a cape.

I also broke out my Free People Corduroy Leggings, and they are nothing short of amazing! Seriously, the most comfortable pants ever. I could wear them every day, and that might just happen. They were also a nice switch from my go-to J Brand Jeggings.
Happy Friday!!

When I think of Corduroy I can't help but think of a little brown bear wearing green overalls with one button missing, I loved that book.

The details on this shirt are just too fun!

And I just wanted to say thank you to anyone who takes the time to read, comment or follow my blog! You ladies blow me way everyday!!!

Look of the Day: Shop, Drop and Roll

As I stated in my previous post on Sunday I went shopping with my friend Jen, and Jen from the Look for Less and Kara From Fashionably Inspired (make sure to check out the pic of us all in this post). I am being generous when I say we went shopping, for some of the time it was me shopping and making other people drop wait for me. This is part of the reason I tend to shop by myself, unfortunately shopping for clothes is my weakness.

None the less I think Kara, Jen and Josh enjoyed checking out Union street. It's a really fun place to walk around, and they were having a sidewalk sale going on so it was nice to walk around and check out what places had to offer. My friend Jen had so much fun chatting with Kara and Jen she even wants to start a blog! Not sure Blogger would be down with many f-bombs, but maybe we can get her to work on that ;)

I couldn't wait any longer to wear some of the things that I purchased at our blogger/worlds collide meet up . The earrings were from Ambiance and the top was just one of the many things I purchased at LF Stores San Francisco. LF has to be my absolute favorite place to shop at in the city. And I wasn't disappointed yesterday. I actually just looked and the top I purchased in the chiffon version is their online Look of the Week.

This Millua top is so flowy and fun, I may just wear it to pieces. I also bought another Millau top that is just gorgeous. I'm sure you will love it as much as I do! If you have not seen this brand you need to check it out, feel free to call the lovely ladies at the San Francisco LF Store,
(415) 567-6872. They are always super helpful, and tell them Amber sent you! Or check out this list of other LF store locations.
I Love this top so much!

Yay for Lf Stores, Millau, and flowy hippie tops for the summer time!
