Logical Playlist of the Moment: What Part Of Party Don't You Understand?

A few Christmases ago Casey gave me a Logitech potable speaker sound system, it may be most used present he has ever given me (in a dead heat race with my camera). My mom had purchased me an iPod that same Christmas so he purchased it mostly to coordinate gifts and give me some iPod accessories. I'm not sure what he was thinking I would use my speakers for. Perhaps for morning dance sessions like the one I had this morning to Gwen Stefani songs, but I am certain he had no idea what a monster he was creating.

My Logitech speakers, or as my friends and I refer to them as "Logi" it as is a mainstay at my parties. When I am invited out to girls nights Logi is always my plus one. There has even been talk of creating a Facebook Fan page for Logi -- Logi is THAT big of a deal. When Logi comes out the party is kicked up more then a notch.

And since music makes me so happy, I figured the logical thing to do is to share my top songs that are on Logi's rotation.

So here it goes.
These are the top five tracks that I have been bumping on Logi this week:
1. Raise Your Glass-Pink
2.What's My Name- Rihanna & Drake
3.Last Friday Night Night- Katy Perry
4.Rebellion(Lies)- Arcade lies
5.So Bad-Eminem
A clear sign that Logi is in the house? The shoes that have been kicked off.
And usually some is dancing on a chair or coffee table!

New Years Recap Part Two: A Low Key New Year in Style

Casey and I always have a low key New Years. We hate the crowds, the fuss and the overprice-ness of everything. But I still love the FUN so I just bring that home ;)

I started my night with a rocking 2000's playlist. Yes I am sucker for Pop music.
I tried out some hot rollers. Just trying to make my Texas friend Lindsey proud, she swears by them!
So proud of myself for doing my hair and makeup! Might have been the first time since my wedding that I put on lipstick! The "Crew" set up for the "shoot"...
My mini photoshoot. Yes I am a HUGE dork!!
Outfit pics! Work it!
And I'm Off...in Vintage DVF BTW. The Dress is Alice & Olivia.
Oh... Just off the Kitchen! I told you we like it Low key!
POP that Beezy!
Cheers!
Hope your New Year is Fabulous!!

May I suggest?

First may I suggest that you add Four Christmases to your Holiday Movie repertoire? Maybe it is because Casey and I live in the Bay Area. Or because we both have divorced parents. Or possibly we enjoyed it because we both have weird issues about people and MIGHT use code words in awkward situations. Or conceivably we partook in the similar feelings that we aren't totally ready to have babies but do really want them. Or perhaps it's because that we love Vince Vaughn and think Reese Witherspoon is gorgeous.
Whatever the reason, we loved Four Christmases and I think you should watch it it =)
It was a really sweet movie and made us laugh =)

Yes I took pictures of the TV again, I have a problem!

And next I would like to suggest you head over and download some of Amazon's 50 Free Christmas Songs! Now how awesome is that?

It's That Time of Year

It's only December 3rd and I have already watched Christmas Vacation several times, Home Alone twice, and Ruldolph once. And I still can't wait to watch Elf, A Christmas Story, Charlie Brown and all the rest of the Holiday classics several time overs as well. I don't know what it is about Christmas Movies but I sure love them!

Rudolph is defiantly one of my Top Three Favorite Christmas Movies, Elf and Home Alone taking the other two slots.
Who doesn't Love the Adbominal Snowman??
I can't wait to bust out this copy cat style. I just dug this tee out of my Christmas boxes.
Casey's favorite Christmas Movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. This moive has been seen serveral times at our house due to AMC's need to play it twice every-night this week
"Looks Great, little Full, lotta sap".
And along with the Holiday Movie Repetion I have also had my Itunes Christmas playlist on a continuous loop. I love the classics (Gene Autry, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole) mixed with newer stuff (Carrie Underwood, Christina Aquilera, Mariah Carey) and instrumental (Chris Botti, Tsiolkovsky's Nutcracker).
I would love to hear your favorite Christmas Songs, Albums and Movies are well. I can always use a new favorite! Go check out Nicole's playlist here. I will be posting my Christmas Decor soon!!

Look of the Day: Everything's Coming up Roses

Recently I hit up the mall to drop a pair of heels off at my local cobbler. While I was waiting for my shoes to be fixed I strolled the mall and wandered into Heritage 1981, a spawn off of F21 but with an American Eagle/Abercrombie knockoff look. I had never shopped there before but that day I found some really cute pieces. My favorite find was these adorable rose printed skirts skirts. They reminded me me of my childhood friends Kimi and Carrie, who always rocked a floral covered corduroy. All the girly details on the clothes had me sold.

Rocking the floral skirt
Rather coincidentally when I was taking pics of my outfit, Outkast's Roses song came bumping on my itunes Genius playlist. Does anyone else utilize this function? It is one of my favorite ways to make random playlists. The genius always grabs old songs that I had long forgotten about, such as Roses. The timing of the song coming on was rather genius in itself.

Pumpkin Party Preperation

Every year my family and I got to our local pumpkin patch to pick pumpkins to carve. Today I spent the day preparing for my pumpkin carving party. I started my day my craft bibles Martha Stewart October issues. Then I picked up tons of flowers and local food the farmers market. And now I am putting together a play list and putting a menu together. I love party planning!

I love stealing ideas from Martha.

Then I picked up tons of flowers and local food from the farmers market.
I filled the House with local flowers. The pops of orange everywhere made me feel so Karen!

My hutch is all ready for the party. Complete with pumpkins, flowers, Witch cook brew books and Erlenmeyer flasks (A Martha idea.)

A nod to my favorite witches. Samantha Stevens from Bewitched and the 3 witches from MacBeth. (I am aware the apostrophe is in the wrong place but when I put it on the outside of the "s" it made the number 30 small like the s....sigh)
Erlenmeyer flasks that will be used for drinks tomorrow. An idea from Martha's 2008 October issue.

Getting Batty!!
My itunes playlist thus far. Any spooky Halloween song suggestions would be great! All Pictures can be clicked on and enlarged.
