Flowers of the Week: Fresh Start

One thing I love about January is how fresh and clean it feels. While I love Christmas decorations and having a Christmas tree in the house, it was so nice to clear everything out and have the house back. The minimalist look of the house right now seems to be the perfect thing to start the New Year off with. So for the first bouquet of the year I combined two Trader Joe's bunches to create this fresh look. Only 4 days in this year but I loving it already. I can't wait for the flowers that pop up after the raining season.

The Christmas tree used to stand beyond the coffee table.I am enjoying the light from the window that the tree was blocking before.

For as long I remember, my Mom has shopped at Cost Plus and Trader Joes. At that time, they were both be in the same shopping center and I have many of fond memories of tagging along to both stores with her. They were so fun and had so much cool stuff! I am still loyal to both stores and shop at both regularly. On a recent trip to Cost Plus, I picked up these awesome reusable travel coffee mugs (I only see solid colors online) and some fun funky rings.

Flowers of the Week: Little Miss Sunshine

The flowers not me....I have been up all night with a stomach flu or something. You'd think I was a 21 year old the day after their birthday or something, only I'm sure they had some fun before they started throwing up. Hopefully I'll be back later.. uggh.

I picked up this Sunshine Bouquet from trader Joes and I just loved it! It felt like spring and brightened my room right up. Flowers make me so happy. I just love them.
And my lone gerbera.

Look of the Day: Interception Reception

Well yesterday was all about football. That last interception Farve threw?? Wow! That game was intense. I guess we'll be seeing Kim Kardash and Kendra from Girls Next Door be bopping around in the stands during the Super Bowl. Well Sunday's are chill mode days for me, my only goal for the day is to make it to the gym and to Trader Joes. Which make leggings a pretty much a given on Sundays. They are easy for me to leave the house if needed but still allow me to kick back in comfort.
My errands outfit. Nordstrom Hinge Cardigan, Mossiomo Target Leggings, F21 tunic and Frye boots.

But most of the day was spent kicking back and relaxing.
