Style Icon: Dress You Up in My Love

On Saturday I am going to '80's style birthday and scavenger hunt. Now, while that typically isn't my thing ,I figure I might as well attend this sort of thing while I'm still 28 (counting down the days I can still say that...). Plus I love the 80's and dressing up in some of era gear sounds kind of fun. And well, I've never gone to 80's party, unless well, it was in the 80's. Double Dare birthday party? Can you say the best birthday party ever? Thanks Mom -- Holy Childhood dreams!

My inspiration for my '80's outfit is my number one style icon of the 80's (besides Barbie) the legend herself, Madonna.

I'm think lots of bracelets, big earrings + hair and an off the shoulder top.
Any other suggestions?

Look of the Day: Top 5

A blazer and a tee is definitely one of my top five go-to outfis looks (a blouse and flare jeans, striped shirt with just about anything are a few others of my go-to 'fits). There's something slightly Mary Kate, Rocker chic, and androgynous I like about the look. Plus it's comfy easy to wear and shows a bit of my interests. In this case my tee is showcasing one of my top five movies (other top five movies include: Star Wars, Pretty Women, Old School, and Bull Durham). And speaking of top 5 lists, my current Crush list is Brian Wilson, Tim Lincecum, Pat Burrel, The Guy from Workaholics (Blake) and Eminem...if I came across him. A Workaholics tee is definitely next on my must buy Tshirt list.

Look of the Day: Gotta Get Down on Friday

I like to start my mornings with music, I think it perks me up more then coffee. There's nothing better than a with lyrics that make me smile and a beat that makes me want to dance. So as I put together a new play-list this morning (yes, jen I'll makes you a mix) hit me with your current jams; particularly the ones that aren't on the iTunes top list. Or hit me up with your best ways to discover new music.

The only thing I love more then dancing is wearing an outfit that I like. I picked up this skirt the other day and I'm pretty certain it's going to get a lot of action this summer.
