Look of the Day: Walking in a Winter Wonderland

It snowed here last night! I have never seen anything like this and I have lived in Northern California my whole life. Everyone was talking about Tiger Woods the snow this morning. It was crazy to drive around and see cars covered in snow. Needless to say I knew I had to take pictures of this rare occurrence so I busted out my super zoom lens, threw on a jacket and drove to a hill that I knew had a great view.

Hiked up the hill, wearing boots that were NOT hike conducive.

I wasn't the only one with this idea, just the only wearing faux fur ;) SNOW!!This my friends, is not normal.

And of course my look of the day included a coat. I am not used to this weather and was FREEZING all day!! I LOVE Juicy jackets, they always have great details (if you like Juicy make sure to check out my friend Brittany's blog she has an amazing juicy collection). I do tend to buy my Juicy coats at the end of the season when they are on super clearance. I bought this coat on clearance a few years ago after seeing Jamie King wearing it on Halloween. It's a bit bright but I love it, it kept me quite warm today!

    OMG I can not believe this weather. And my winter coats are still in DC because I didn't think I'd need them before Xmas :(

    I love your "copy cat style" and pulling from celebrity ideas. Definitely inspiring.

    LOOO-OOVE the coat. It snowed here yesterday morning- there was some on daddy's car and the girls were so excited!
