I still remember the first time my Mom took me to shop in the Macy's Junior Depart mart. This was back in the nineties and I was in 6th grade. It was kind of a big deal. I even remember what we bought that day, my first Free People top. It was a brown, blue, green and I think orange striped crew cut, long sleeved thermal. And oh how I loved that thing, I need to find a picture me wearing it. There are few brands I can remember the first piece I ever owned from them, but I will never forget that first Free People top, it had me hooked on the brand ever since.
Here are some images that I am just loving from their recent catalog.
I will be wearing lots and lots of Free People this summer, I can't wait!
And in other news... my tripod broke so I may be low on Look of the Days this week until I can get a new one.
FP is so very you! I love that store too, but I think you rock the boho look better than I do. :)
ReplyDeleteI got a Free People shirt at ROSS the other day and Maggie & I both said - Hey, Amber loves Free People! So I had to buy it so I can be cool! I think it could have been ugly as dirt and I still would have purchased it just b/c it was a Free People! hahaha (But it's actually really cute - I need to wear it soon!)
ReplyDeleteFree People makes me think of hip So-Cal. I kind of like it, but it is also one of those brands that I am not sure if I am cool enough to be able to pull off. You would totally me about to pull it off.
ReplyDeletei love free people too... my very favorite dress is a white free people dress. waiting for the weather to reaalllly warm up so i can bust it out :)

ReplyDeleteAww, I love your walks down Memory Lane! Would love to see a pic of you in that FP top!
ReplyDeleteI've owned a few FP pieces, but always end up giving them away because I don't wear them enough. Now I know who to give them to! LOL

ReplyDeleteI love Free People- and I'm glad that both FP and UO are beginning to bring the "pretty" back into some of their clothes. For awhile there, Anthro's sister brands were kind of scaring me.
