May I Suggest?

For as long I remember, my Mom has shopped at Cost Plus and Trader Joes. At that time, they were both be in the same shopping center and I have many of fond memories of tagging along to both stores with her. They were so fun and had so much cool stuff! I am still loyal to both stores and shop at both regularly. On a recent trip to Cost Plus, I picked up these awesome reusable travel coffee mugs (I only see solid colors online) and some fun funky rings.
If you are a coffee drinker I highly recommend getting reusable coffee mugs, and if you need more incentive check out this quote from www.carbonrally.com.
" a staggering 14.4 billion are bought in disposable paper cups. Placed end-to-end, these cups would wrap around Earth 55 times and weigh around 900 million pounds......Unlike newspaper and cardboard boxes, disposable paper cups are not recyclable. The thin lining that makes a paper cup waterproof also keeps it from being recycled. "

"By using your own coffee cup, you will reduce your CO2 emissions by a total of 1.25 lbs this week."

For more information check out the Carbonrally.com website here.

Now if that isn't incentive enough, maybe these adorable mugs will sway you. Alright (Wendy), sorry to get all Hippie on you, but aren't they cute?

May I suggest?

May I suggest you spend lots of quality time with your family and loved ones every moment you get? Then capture those moments, big moments, small moments on film. And then at the end of the year make a book at Blurb.com with all your great times and memories. I loved my my book turned out. I have used many book making websites and this one was my favorite by far.
Then go check out Twistband.com to pick up some new hairbands. I always wanted these from Planet Blue but they are ALWAYS sold out of them and the ones at Shopbop.com are too pricey for me. So when my friend Wendy informed me about these I was so excited. Pretty sure I am going to DIY these one day.
I like to wear multiple ones on my arms like the Planet Blue girls.
Can you tell I LOVE Planet blue?? lol

May I suggest?

First may I suggest that you add Four Christmases to your Holiday Movie repertoire? Maybe it is because Casey and I live in the Bay Area. Or because we both have divorced parents. Or possibly we enjoyed it because we both have weird issues about people and MIGHT use code words in awkward situations. Or conceivably we partook in the similar feelings that we aren't totally ready to have babies but do really want them. Or perhaps it's because that we love Vince Vaughn and think Reese Witherspoon is gorgeous.
Whatever the reason, we loved Four Christmases and I think you should watch it it =)
It was a really sweet movie and made us laugh =)

Yes I took pictures of the TV again, I have a problem!

And next I would like to suggest you head over and download some of Amazon's 50 Free Christmas Songs! Now how awesome is that?

May I suggest?

May I please suggest the following ideas to improve your Wednesday?

Head over to Faded Plains to check out Andrea's latest store additions.
How cute are these stockings!? You know I already ordered some!
Click photo to grab some of your own, I will be surprised if she has any left by the end of the day!
If you were a Sweet Valley nut like me I suggest heading over to 1Bruce1 for all things Jessica and Elizabeth. I was quite the fan of those perfect size 6, blonde, Jeep driving twins. I sure loved those books and that board game! Thank you Marie Claire for having this link in your list of best time wasting websites, I don't have enough time wasting websites bookmarked.

I would also recommend purchasing yourself some seasonal flowers. They sure brighten up my day, and my living room.
And lastly remember to take a moment today to thank all of the Men and Women who have served our country. THANK YOU. The following picture is a local hillside memorial on the side of a freeway where a cross serves as reminder for every death in Iraq.

Hope you all have a great Wednesday, whether or not you have the day off!

May I suggest?

May I suggest the following for your entertainment?
-Going to wordle.net then pasting your blog URL and see what design comes up, and then share your word cloud with me. Thank you Karen for posting this awesome site on your blog. I am obsessed!
-Voting for my friend Gaelyn at Rock and Roll Bride and check out her wedding planing and totally awesome DIY's.
-Reading this great New York Times article article on the blurred line between news/reality/entertainment and how the media was responsible hyping up the balloon boy. As well as how it eerily mirrored the Real Estate bust, a rather scary pattern. And then watch this totally hilarious "I'm in a box" balloon boy spoof.
