Look of The Day: Amber... I Wonder if she's back from Vegas

I forget how much I miss hotels when I come home at night and to find that no one made my bed and my breakfast dishes are still dirty and I have to deal with them. Staying in hotels sure is fun!

So it's hasn't been storming, yet, but the ominous dark storm clouds are looming overhead. I wish they would just start storming and get out of here so we can enjoy a nice sunny Easter Sunday. In the meantime it has been slowly dripping here and there, which leaves me in a pickle when I am trying to pick out outfits. I veered to being safe and wore boots (over them) and my new Trench-ish jacket I purchased after loving how it looked on Chloe! I felt cute with the jacket on or off so that was at least a compromise for having to be prepared for rain.

You can kind of see the adorable inside print of the jacket in this picture. It is on the table behind me.

Unfortunately my Forever 21 jacket, Anthropologie top and Ash Olivia boots are all no longer available =(
I tired to get a close up of the details on this Anthro top, which I obviously don't know the name of! Kim, Maria, or Tien?? Any of my Anthro experts know?

All wrapped up!
And if anyone even gets the title of this thread we need to be friends, or at least Seinfeld watching buddies.

EDITED TO ADD: You can check out me rocking a total Kim outfit on the Antnhroholic today. Thanks kim! =)

How I Shop: She (Chloe) Made Me Do it

Last night Chloe tweeted about these amazing Elizabeth and James shoes. Well I knew immediately I had to have them. For one, I adore Chloe 's style pick from her is golden and I LOVE Elizabeth and James. I snagged the shoes for $78, pretty amazing deal I have to say. I usually opt for heels with a platform in front but Chloe always rocks heels without platforms and I am SO excited to wear these Chloe selected shoes! I only hope whatever I pair them with makes Chloe proud, lol. YAY! Thanks Chloe!!

Look of the Day: Skeletons in My Closet

Mine are just happen to be worn proudly on sequin dresses, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I know this Rodarte Skeleton dress was definitely one of those pieces you either HATED (most of you) or by chance you are a freak like me and loved. I remember Justine saying it was too hideous to even try on! Hehe!!It is not the most versatile dress, or the most wanted dress, but I for one adored it! A skeleton dress? In sequins!? At a Target priceline!? YES PLEASE! The freaks come out at night...or when Rodarte teams up with Target I come out.

Paired with my American Eagle Chambray denim top. LOVE!! The Look 4 less and Beach Black have both featured this top.
And just showing off it's awesomeness

Okay did anyone else have serious blogger problems this weekend?? I couldn't sign one, make comments, had posts eaten and just problems all around... anyone else dealt with that!??

Look of the Day: Say the heels on your feet, With the strap around your ankles

If I had a uniform this would be it. I have worn so many variations of this outfit it is almost silly (some examples here and here). My uniform consists of just a blue button up (blue makes my eyes POP!) paired with a grey cardigan in some sort of mix. Today I realized how many of both items I have in my closet, so no more of that. I tried to mix it up with the tights, a ruffle belt and my go to boots.

Whenever I strap these boots on Shake it like a Salt Shaker gets stuck in my head!
Shawty crunk on the floor wide open. Skeet so much they call her Billy Ocean.
Rocking a Rag and Bone button down, Urban BGD cardigan, Urban belt and Chloe boots..all are old.
Do you have a uniform??

Look of the Day: Lost Symbol

Not only did I love the book The Lost Symbol but I love symbols in general, they just intrigue me. Today I seemed to be adorned with lots of symbols.

I rocked the sweater from Urban that I purchased yesterday. I do not see it on the website yet.
I also wore my Chloe strappy boots from last season.
I swear this is the only thing that Audrina Patridge and I both own. Copy Cat style, what!? IDC (I Don't Care) These boots rock! =)
I ended up adding this necklace that I picked up at the Wine Fest a few months ago. It kind of freaks me out because I have read opals are bad luck when you purchase them for yourself, but for the price I doubt it was a real opal. Also rocking my Taylor Jacobson sideways cross copy cat necklace.
And I wore some Fleur-de-lis earrings. I rarely wear studs anymore. Not since I thought it was cool, back in the day, to pretty much three hole punch my ears. Yeah going to Berkley to get a new earring hole every other week is only cool for so long. If only someone would have told 17 year old Amber that 9 ear piercings aren't going to be cool when you are 27 20. Some trends only last so long..
My Gypsy 05 shirts are my favorite to chill in after work.

Look of the Day: Every Vote Counts

It is hot here in California so I am balancing 80' and the fall season but I refuse to give up my boots. Leggings and short sleeve sweaters allow me to "look" fall without battling the weather. Here are my looks from yesterday and today. Today is election day and I am anxiously waiting for the polls to close. I know I should be focused on who our next California Senator will be but instead I am crossing my fingers that a measure will pass which will welcome a Neiman Marcus a mere 4 miles from my house. I can't tell you how long I have been waiting on this!
Free people cardigan, Forever 21 belt, and chloe boots.
I love ruffles!

My favorite accessory of the day, my "I Voted" sticker.

And THANK YOU to anyone who voted for Gaelyn from My Corner view on Rock n Roll Bride, she WON the photography package!!
