I can't believe this morning was the first day in 6 days I woke up in my own house. Being in the hospital that long was like going a vacation and staying in a bad hotel, or something like that. So waking up at home made me feel like I wasn't sick anymore, in fact I thought I was feeling so much better that I started acting like I was normal and started going about my day. But I quickly learned I have
very little energy. So back to taking it easy I go.
Since I am taking it easy, I still haven't really ventured outside the house, or gotten ready for leaving the house. It has been over a week since I have worn my staple mascara or wedges. And I actually decided I am not putting mascara back on until I am back to normal, something about seeing myself in the mirror without mascara reminds me I need to take it easy and to relax. I did however try on my new
Pierre Hardy for Gap wedges with my outfit today. They arrived while I was in the hospital and had been waiting to be opened up. They are pretty funky and not all that practical but I adore the big bow and chunky wedge. And they seemed super comfortable, even for being sky high!
Thinking I was good to go for the day, I was actually contemplating going shopping.
Not a chance.

shoes. These are "me" shoes for sure!

After realizing shopping in stores was not in my cards today, I swiftly headed back to my computer for some online retail therapy and removed my wedges.

Even when in chill mode wearing a shirt made me feel a little more put together then a
hoodie would have. And my chambray shirt is so soft and is just as comfy.

All about comfort: an H&m tunic,
Urban outfitters bralette , an old head-wrap and once again my hospital bracelet. That bracelet is not coming off until I venture outside of the house, just another reminder to
chill.

Lastly I received an Edible Arrangement today! It was so fun and yummy. I have only been craving fruit and turkey sandwiches (yes I have been eating meat!) so this arrangement was perfect!
Thank you Dave, Christine, Karen and Steve!
Yay for fancy fruit, fun footwear and finally realizing what it means to relax.
