Party Prep: I'ma Let You Finish

I like to be festive. I like to party. I like to dress up. And I like to celebrate the biggest and smallest things in life. So when the VMA's are on, I don't just block off my Sunday night. I plan VMA themed menu, rock my 2002 Eminem concert tee, and utilize the heck out of anything I have around that reminds me of anything Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

So excited that Chelsea hosted! It was my favorite, but the opening making fun of Gaga was pretty classic.

Of course I had lots of M&M's around.

There really wasn't any omg did that just happen moments this year.
I also thought that last year's performance's by Pink, Gaga and Beyonce's KILLED it compared to year's performances.

And I don't think this year's Lady Gaga wore an outfit I could recreate, but I loved how she honored Alexander McQueen, who is rumored to have designed all her crazy looks from last year.

And right now it's a steel knife in my wind pipe.

That lyric always gets to me. That song has been my anthem this summer. I may not have had a steel knife in my wind pipe, but I sure had one in my lung to kick off my summer. Plus my friend Vanessa told me anytime he says Kim it's just codeword for Amber--and I believe her.

Eminem and his emotion filled lyrics are something that always speak to me. Maybe it's his anger, or perhaps his honesty. Whatever it is it, I have always loved Eminem. And tonight I cheered him on at the VMA's rocking my 2002 Eminem concert tee.

He brought the house dee double you DOWN tonight. It was so good to see him in a good place again. And you know I rocked my Lady Gaga Halloween costume when I was cheering on Gaga. I'm totally a little monster!!

Things I love: MTV

So it may not be the MTV that Alicia Silverstone rocked it out in Aerosmith music videos. Or the MTV where TRL ruled all and Carsen Daly let us know what the #1 video of the day was. But now they are bringing us gems like the Hills and ya'll know I love Lauren Conrad. So when I was featured on MTVstyle.com yesterday you know I was stoked. Picture a teenage girl holding a big sign in Times Square outside that says I Love Nick Carter. Yup that's how excited I was.
