During the winter I rely on layers to spice up my outfits. During the summer I rely in stacks of rings and bracelets, or as Planet Blue coined it, my pile. While I was in Europe they held a Style Your Pile contest, which I unfortunately missed. But here is my pile.
The bracelets are my favorite part of my pile because they are from some of the places I have traveled to. I try to pick up bracelets everywhere I go. They are an easy souvenir to pack and they make for a nice collection. And sometimes they even serve as a conversation starter.

Look of the day: Guard and Protect her Heart
My Monday started with a great trip to the Doctors--it looks like i am doing just fine--and ended with the Bachlorette girls session.
I was not expecting that outcome, I thought for sure she was not picking either. I'm not a huge Bachelor/Bachorette fan but I got sucked in this season because I like Ali's clothes. Last night we went to Jen's to watch the season finale. We ooohed and awwwed over the whole episode. When Roberto showed up sweating bullets we were sure he was letting her go. It was pretty cute how in love they seemed though.
As skewed as the reality of that show it's interesting to see how relationships evolve and what makes people drawn to certain people. The whole meeting Ali's family just seemed super awkward though! Well let's just hope Roberto guards and protects Ali's heart, he should also guard her closet because I could steal quite a few things out of there.

Planet Blue Best Bum tee (Ali's a fan of Planet blue tees too), H&M pendent necklace, Siwy destroyed jeans and Urban Outfitters headband.
I also brought over some roasted tomato salsa to snack on. Salsa is one of my favorite things to make with my farmers market hauls.

"You know why? Because people like to say "salsa." "Excuse me, do
you have any salsa?" "We need more salsa." "Where is the salsa? No salsa?"

Weekend Recap: Saying Goodbye, Saying Goodbye to Hollywood
Happy Monday!! I hope you are having a great day and had a fabulous weekend. I know I sure did. Despite waking up with what I thought was a cold on Friday I ended up powering through the weekend and made a last minute road trip down to LA and I'm SO glad I did! I hadn't been my last amazing trip in January, and wow it had been too long. I had a blast visiting my sister's new place in LA, showing my Mom and friend Mandy around my favorite places in Hollywood and just enjoying the heck out of life. I even got to reenact my Briney Spears encounter at it's original location. Gosh I love LA and last minute adventures.

Ready For Those Flashing Lights.
Papa Paparazzi!
Britney encounter re-enactment:
Starring me as myself, Andrea as Britney Spears and Mandy as Sean Preston.

Coffee Bean in Malibu. A must stop for me every trip I make down to SoCal.
You know I hit up Planet Blue...

I like to take a minute to a few people:
My Mom for everything, including planning a trip to LA and sparking the urge for me to go.
My sister for living in LA and providing me with a place to stay, and for being my Designated Driver.
My Husband for allowing me to letting me go whereever the wind blows me when he is busy with softball.
Mandy for pressuring me to go even when I was afraid I was sick. And for letting me show her around for her first trip to LA!!!
My Dad and Rena because they just rock and inspire me to dream big.
Dustin for putting up with us crazies and for getting us into the club I wanted to check out.
Wendy for finding the coolest places in LA!! Can't wait to meet you there again!
And for anyone who took the time to read or comment on this post!

May I suggest?
May I suggest you spend lots of quality time with your family and loved ones every moment you get? Then capture those moments, big moments, small moments on film. And then at the end of the year make a book at Blurb.com with all your great times and memories. I loved my my book turned out. I have used many book making websites and this one was my favorite by far.
Then go check out Twistband.com to pick up some new hairbands. I always wanted these from Planet Blue but they are ALWAYS sold out of them and the ones at Shopbop.com are too pricey for me. So when my friend Wendy informed me about these I was so excited. Pretty sure I am going to DIY these one day.
I like to wear multiple ones on my arms like the Planet Blue girls.
Can you tell I LOVE Planet blue?? lol

Dreaming of a Planet Blue
I am headed to LA next weekend and I cannot wait to hit up one of my favorite stores, Planet Blue. I decided to check out their online selection to see what they have in store for Wendy and Andi, and I! Plant Blue is never the one to disappoint and always has tons of things I long for! I also got lots of DIY ideas while window shopping. Here are just a handful of things I have my eye on.

And these pieces are 2010 DIY inspiration pictures.
I am thinking I can make this dress similar to how Meagan made her's here.
This one should be easy.
