Look of the Day: Emerald City

"St. Patrick's Day is an enchanted time -
A day to begin transforming winter's dreams into summer's magic.
"

.Adrienne Cook.
Last night Jen and I were laughing about how I, up until about a year ago, I thought that green beer was a special Irish brew that had a greenish tint! I was not aware, until seeing a picture on Facebook, that green beer is simply Bud Light (or whatever light beer) with green dye in it! WOW Blondemoment!
I hope you had a fabulous Wednesday whether or not you were rocking green, drinking green beer or eating corn beef and cabbage. Oh of course , I made made corn beef and for Casey! Anytime I can throw diner in crock pot and have it made when I get off work I am down for. Well really I am down for whatever...

Me, the blonde with a greenish tint.

Throwback:

I was rocking a Rachel Pally top, forever 21 necklace (where is that thing?), True Religion jeans and some belt I bought after Jessica Simpson wore it.

Look of The Day: Today is tomorrow. It happened.

Isn't Bill Murray great? One of my friends and I would watch What about Bob? or Ground Hog's Day every other slumber party. He sure put us in serious giggle fits, and I'm sure half the jokes went over our heads back then. Shadows seen aside, I hope you Tuesday was a good one.
I rocked the strong shoulder cardigan from my Forever 21 shopping post. Which I just loved. I proudly rocked my shoulder pads, the 80's sure has made us hesitant of those things, but I think they are awesome. I have a habit letting new pieces be the main focus of the outfit, because it is new to me. So today's outfit not that exciting but all day I was planning outfits to wear with guy next time. I found it be very flattering, I don't see it online yet, but be warned it runs a tad short.

Rocking it with my go to JBrand doll jeans (I suggest JBrand Love story jeans for the same effect but for people who don't have a high waist like me)
I attempted to take a picture to show you the effect of the strong shoulders.
Don't knock the weather; nine-tenths of the people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in a while.

I hopped off the Plane at LAX

"I love Los Angeles. I love Hollywood. They're beautiful. Everybody's plastic, but I love plastic. I want to be plastic."

I am here!! I figured out what I forgot!! MASCARA! I am not a makeup girl but I do wear eyeliner and mascara, and boy do I look tired right now rocking a mascara-less look, ekk! Well, the four hours of sleep didn't help either, I really need to work on that going to bed early thing. Well I am off to find a CVS for some L'Oreal Voluminous to wak up these eyes and then off to Coffee Bean stat! I can't wait to cruise down Melrose, Robertson's, and Sunset. And I do love plastic but only in the Barbie form.
Anyways, I look to my right and I see the Hollywood sign... I'll be back soon!
