Color of the Moment: Sally Hansen Nail Effects in Frock Star

The other day while I was browsing my favorite fashion forum I came across a thread about the new Sally Hansen Salon Effect Real Nail Polish Strips. After reading the reviews and seeing pictures of the results I ran as fast as I could to the nearest CVS to purchase some - and I'm so glad I did because I LOVE the results.

The strips come in packages of 16 varying sizes for different nails, sperated in to packages of 8. They also come with a nail file/buffer, and tool to press on nail polish and to push back cuticles.

The application process was fairly easy. The directions instruct you to remove two layers of plastic protection and then press on nails and then file the rest of the strip off.
I instead pressed on the nail and then used the the stick tool to 'cut' off the rest of the strip.
This allowed me to use one strip for one, two or even three nails.

Doing this allowed me to save 12 of the 16 strips. So I'll be able to use this set at least one more time.
Because of the way I removed the rest of the strip {opposed the directions} I use a layer of top coat to seal in the nails to protect the glitter edges that were rising a bit.

I will keep you updated one how long they stay on {the box claims 10 days} and how the removal process is.
But so far I am loving my glittery nails!
