I haven't worn anything but hospital gowns since Thursday and since I was only home for half the day yesterday I didn't bother rocking and outfit, I wore a tee. A tee with a message that is. As I mentioned in my previous post after my whole ordeal, my body and health have been on my mind a lot. The hole that developed in my lung even spooked some of my friends who smoke, because the doctor said I would be in way worse shape, even if I smoked causally. I think having respect for your body is always important but sometimes reflecting on that importance is easier then others. The Marc by Marc Jacobs tee I am wearing supports the very idea of loving your body in more ways then one. The Protect the Skin You're In campaign had a slew of celebrities ditching their clothes to make an eye catching statement of the importance of protecting your skin.
I purchased the tee because I love Victoria Beckham, the tee was freaking awesome and all proceeds of the Tee benefited Skin Cancer research. Being someone with susceptible skin(lots of freckles and moles) I'm pretty passionate about getting quality vitamin D, rocking hats and protective gear, avoiding tanning and eating healthy foods in order to keep your skin healthy. Clearly this tee was perfect for me. Chances are if you are doing the right thing for your largest organ, you are also taking good care of your body. And sometimes taking care of your body means eating a chocolate chip cookie or two, because being happy is part of being healthy!
I'm BACK! And I'm all smiles! Still mascara-less though.
And pedicure-less, I need to work on that.

My cool new accessory to protect my catheter. Feel free to cut the foot off an old sock and rock on your bicep if you would like to join in on the fun.
Expect to see my new accessory accompanying my outfits for the next week or so. The goal is to have it removed before my Europe vacation, or that trip is going to be a no-go.

I Love the message of this tee almost as much as I love Marc Jacobs and Victoria Beckham.

My Tee is no longer available but other celebs and models with the same message are available
here. I would recommend the Chloe Sevigny one, the Heidi one is fierce too!
Marc by Marc Jacobs Tee, Juicy sweats, H&M headband, and of course my complimentary hospital bracelet.
Yay for loving your body, Victoria Beckham and Marc Jacobs!
