Look of the Day: Pretty In Pink

My is weekend was full of a little football and a lot of baseball {Go GIANTS}. But before all the baseball madness began I wore a pink flowy dress. I'm glad I wore it when I did because on Sunday it finally felt that fall arrived here in the Bay Area.

It may finally be time to upack my fall and winter clothes and boots. I am excited to wear cozy sweaters, leather jackets and boots! Until then I relished in bare legs and dresses.

You know I love dresses with pockets.

Look of the Day: Rhinstone Cowboy

I am slowly unpacking my fall and winter wardrobe. I like to pack up my boots and sweaters once the weather warms up and then re-evaluate when the seasons change. It not only gives me more space in my tiny closet, but it also allows me to re-evaluate the pieces I do have that I will wear again this year, and which pieces I will not wear again.

Anything that is too worn is given away or re-purposed. I try on everything before it goes back in my closet, and if it doesn't fit correctly it goes in the give away pile. As I slowly transition my closet I will share how set up my closet in order to have a variety of pieces that can be easily interchanged to form a variety of outfits.

Take these Frye Deborah boots for instance, while purchased last fall, will still see a lot of action this season. They are the perfect boot to start off my transition wardrobe. And I just love the fun details on them.

Look of the Day: A San Francisco Treat

Today I hit up The American Craft Council Show in San Francisco with my friend Vanessa. We cruised around and had a wonderful time checking out all the local art and crafts. I really enjoy craft shows and meeting the people who put their creativity and heart into their work. We met this one women with the most amazing hats I have ever seen. She was so enthusiastic about her her work, it was very inspiring! Seriously, this lady needs to find her way to Lady Gaga. Her hats were bananas!

After the craft show we headed to Union Street to shop and eat. We dined at Belenut and checked out the 60% off the entire store sale at the San Francisco Union Street LF Store. It was a Friday full of lots of beautiful and tasty things. Not to mention many good laughs! Love you VeeVee!!
Forever 21 cardigan (I don't see online but I just purchased this week)
Free People tube top (similar here), J Brand Jeggings, and Frye Deborah boots.
Other highlights:
Supporting the libraries.
Creativity galore!

A gorgeous day on the bay.

The calamari is a must.
V's mom insisted we try it!
The Papaya salad was so fresh and fantastic!

The views were free of fog for once.
I hope your weekend kicked off nicely as well!

Look of the Day: Tank Top Jacket

My friend Mandy's kinda-of-sorta three and a half year old nephew, is pretty much hilarious and is quite the character. Recently Mandy shared with me that he refers to vests as tank top jackets. I just love the way little kids think! Vests totally are tank top jackets, I may never call them vests again. In fact yesterday I rocked a tank top jacket. We spent the day with Casey's Mom and then I went had lunch with my family. It is the last time my sister will be around before her big move to LA, so it was nice to have lunch together as a family.
Still tri-pod less, but I've got my tank top jacket on!
Rocking a Lauren Conrad for Kohls top, Urban Outfitters Vest, Deborah Frye boots and Tom Ford sunglasses.
My rings and bracelets are from Forever 21 and World Market and my scarf/hair band is an old scarf from Nordstrom.
Yay for silly things kids say, tank top jackets and family time!

Look of the Day: My Eyes are Closing in a Nap like State

Last night we went out to support our good friend, Cyrus, at a Local Dive bar's Open Mic night . Now there are few people I would leave the house at 9:00pm on a weeknight for and even fewer that I would go to this dive bar for, but Cyrus is one of kind friend and we love to support him. Not matter the creepy bar and how much death metal I had to listen to before hearing some decent jams, we had a great time supporting our friend and his band. Even if my "my eyes are {now} closing in a nap like state" (one of my favorite quotes from my Gma's friend Olga) from staying out so late. Feel free to use this quote often, you will be surprised how frequently you can use and how perfectly it explains your tired state.
Pennie Lane came out to say hi.
I rocked a cashmere scarf gifted to me by my Step Mom Rena, a K. Allyn Tshirt and my go to Frye Deborah boots.
And my Hinge by Nordstrom Leather jacket.
Definitely my kind of place when this is the top shelf:
And Jager is their house wine ;)
I am all but certain I was the only person there wearing pastel nail polish.
