Look of the Day: Some People Say Rappers are Invincible, We're Vincible
Have you ever thrown caution to the wind? Got caught up in the moment? Made a bad choice? Well I have. And this, I'm sure, won't be the last time. After a series of bad ideas I was left with a reminder, on my face none-the-less, to always to use my common sense.
DIY earrings, Urban shirt (I saw it on the sale rack this week), Free People Bra, J brand Jeggings, Cynthia Vincent Sandals, Forever 21 bag.

And I said what about "Breakfast at Tiffany's?
So it's day three (or day fourteen in all) in the hospital. I am doing much better, I still can't believe I have strep and it landed me back in hospital. Good news is I should be out today and hopefully will be back later with some more interesting post, rather then just hospital updates. It is kinda of funny his time around because of my strep status I am in confinement and the nurses and technicians have to wear these like space men helmets when they come in to my room. It's rather entertaining.
I am also entertained myself by reading a wonderful book that my step mom Rena sent over for me. It's called Fifth Avenue, 5 am. It is a fabulous book detailing the events and people that contributed to Breakfast at Tiffany's. I could blow through it but instead I am savoring it and wikipeding every event, person and movie mentioned in the book. I had also made a list of movies and documentaries based on the book that I want to watch and rewatch this summer. A must read if you are a Breakfast at Tiffany's or Audrey Hepburn fan, like me.
Well I hope to be out of here later today and be back to posting looks of the day! I can't even remember what my regular life is like.I haven't even gone grocery shopping since May 23! Thank you or all the nice thoughts ladies! I hope to be back to regular posting soon!

Look of the Day: Icon Inspired
I spent my Friday cleaning out my closet for spring. the weather was so nice today I decided it was time to officially pack up my boots. I don't pack them all but it definitely feels too late in the season to wear boots like my Suede Ash Olivia's, I am embracing Spring and sucking it up even if my feet get cold. I pack up my strictly seasonal clothes because it frees up closet space and it forces me to reevaluate clothes when I unpack them in the fall.
While I was cleaning, I felt my outfit very Audry Hepburn inspired (how presumptuous of me), while pairing a striped shirt and head wrap. Audrey Hepburn images have been on my mind since I decided on the dress I am wearing the the wedding tomorrow. The dress I decided on reminds me of one of dress she wore in Breakfast at Tiffany's. So naturally I had to go back through my pictures, to look at all those pictures I took of my TV back in February, when I was watching Breakfast at Tiffany's nightly.
The Icon.
Me, wishing I just had an ounce of her chicness and grace.
Moon River....rocking the head wrap.
And me, in my messy room, organizing!
It is also possible that this Picture of Kurt Cobain, that I posted earlier this week, was my inspiration to break out my Rodarte for Target top.
I resemble him a bit more, don't I?
And the reason I was looking for Audrey Hepburn pictures, these dresses remind of the dress I am wearing tomorrow. Obviously it is not white and it is shorter.

Amazing!
I hope your Friday was more exciting then mine =)

Look of The Day: Two drifters off to see the world. There's such a lot of world to see.
I got an early Valentines day treat today!! My Mother in Law is pretty much the coolest! She stopped by tonight with some Valentines Day treats for me (well and my Nieces but they have to wait for theirs) and I have to say she was looking pretty amazing and hip this evening. I hope my MIL, who never had any daughters, now thinks as my Sister In Law Rebecca and I both as daughters because she sure spoils us like we were her own. Not only does she take take time to read my blog regularly(and share the link with her friends) and she also always looks out for me. And ever since my "On the Hunt" post about champagne coupes she too has been on the hunt for them. I now how a collection that even Marie Antoinette or Holly Golighty would envy. And what makes them even better is that they are the real thing, fabulous and vintage! No longer shall I use regular drinking glasses, Champange coupes is all it is! Thank you so much Shelia for my Valentines Day Treats. I love you!
My outfit today, after a week of pouting about the prolonging of winter, I decided not to wallow in my spring wishes and instead relish in the items I can only wear a few weeks longer. Like my favorite Joie Twiggy Over the Knee boots. LOVE! I will miss these all spring and summer! I did not wear them enough.
And my favorite Joie Tunic {similar here}which spurred my favorite blog comment of all time made by the ever fabulous Chloe! Who Knew she was poet?
And my Valentine's day Surprise!!! Coupes!!
And our special personalized glasses that Shelia made for us! She is SO crafty and made us each personailzed beaded glasses. You know, so we know who's glass to fill up higher ;)
And of course these coupes influenced me to watch Breakfast at Tiffany one last time before it no longer available On Demand! And you better bet that tomorrow morning I will be drinking my orange juice or {almond} milk, or maybe green monster out of one of these a'la Holly.
And I can only imagine my morning toast will involve a tribute to late and great Alexander McQueen. A legend was lost today... His presence and influence will be forever missed.

There once was a girl with no pants,
She starred in a movie where she would sing and dance,
Then a blogger came along,
And wore it so well- that same tunic of chiffon,
And looked much more styleish that you didn't EVEN have a chance.
Bravo! *claps*

On the Hunt: If Only there was a Real Life Place That Made Me Feel Like Tiffanys
As I mentioned earlier I have watched Breakfast at Tiffany's a few time this week. Definitely expect a Stye Icon post for all the pictures I took! But for now I am on a mad search for some tasseled ear plugs like Holly's. I wear ear plugs every night and think these would make my ear plugs feel much more glamorous! They are like earrings but are ear plug, genius! So far my googling has only yielded home made looking ones, I suppose I could DIY, but they certainly don't have to same glamorous feel as Holly's. My search continues.
Only Holly can make sleeping in look this glamorous.

And of course the pictures I took of my TV:
