Now I know most people ahem Miss JennaB scoff at the idea of kitten heels but after all the classic movies I watched, they started to seem charming to me. So I decided to give them a go around. I upped the sex kitten aspect of lone inch heels by wearing a short hemline and a leopard print top. Rrwar!
Despite the absence of three or four (or more) inches that I usually look for in heels, the kitten heels still surprisingly elongated my legs in a way that flats cannot (I despise flats).
So ladies if you find 4 inch heels played out or painful I urge to give the little kitties a try, but remember you must still elongate your legs when wearing them. You can achieve this by pairing them with something high waisted or a short hemline.
Oh darlings, Bette, Marilyn and Audrey would all be so proud.
Gotta love Animal prints this season as well.
Joie Leopard Top, Urban Outfitters Skirt (Copy Cat Lauren Conrad Style), Chinese Laundry Kitten Heels.
Will you be giving kitten heels a try?
i'm not much of a kitten heels person myself but that's probably because of my stumpier legs :)
ReplyDeletethese look amazing on you--super sophisticated and lengthening!
I find kitten heels more comfy than flats. I love "high heels" also but I've kinda given up that idea for my daily grind.......
ReplyDeleteYes, no matter what anyone says, I adore a one or two inch kitten heel. Love seeing your Pennie Lane cat, so cute!
ReplyDeleteI get nervous mixing prints, but you pulled it off so well! Gorgeous outfit!

ReplyDeleteI love the tittle of your post, I used to collect Hello Kitty when I was a kid many many years ago.
I'm not really sure why but I've always had a major aversion to kitten heels. I'll let you have my share... ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love how you mixed those prints! It worked perfectly. I don't have any kitten heels but I might try them out to be practical!

You wear them well! I've heard that kitten heels have come back in this season, too. :)

ReplyDeleteFirst - I love the leopard top against the skirt. It looks so good on you - ridiculous good.

This is a cute look, I really like the leopard top! For me, I like kitten heels only if the heel is chunky. But really, I always prefer flats or boots, too much running around for me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comments, cute skirt. I'm not big on kitten heels but I do have a pair of kitten heeled penny loafers that's been for unworn for far too long, might give it a wear some day soon.
