Venice recap

Well It was a whirlwind of a trip we packed in just about as much as we possibly could. Venice s a nice place to end the trip because it was very laid back and it felt the most like a vacation, especially since our hotel room had a gorgeous view of the canal. Although Venice was laid back it required a ton of walking. We would leave the hotel in the mining and not make it back until after dinner. We walked down just about every alley in Venice. the farther we walked from the square and the main bridge the less tourists we would encounter. But our ventures to the outskirts led to timing problems because of siesta. When we were hungry and ready to eat we were left with few options. Our last meal of the trip was the best meal we had on Venice, we all ordered seafood pasta dishes and they were fabulous. We spent most of our time popping in and out of stores checking out what Venice had to offer. As beautiful as Venice was I had my fill of it and 2 1/2 days were plenty for me. I did love stopping to enjoy $1 cake bites and expresso in Italy. I hope to go back soon and check out other cities.
