I love jars. Seriously, love them. I save nearly every glass jar and bottle that comes into my kitchen. In my kitchen I fill them with quiona, lentils, rice and oatmeal. While In my craft room my jars are home to buttons, embellishments and sequins. For display and organization purposes I even fill jars with my collections of matchbooks, hotel pens, and sea glass. The possibilities of jars seem endless, they are so simple but so lovely. So when I stumbled across this vintage mason set of Ball blue jars and a carrier basket for $30 I was beyond excited. They look lovely whether they have flowers in them or not, but currently I am loving how they look with these lovely hot pink ranunculus spilling out of them.
I think as you saw on my post yesterday, my little chihuahua is one of the things that is making me happy right now. And of course, cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers!
Re-reading favorite books and munching on almonds are too simple things that are thrilling me this week!

ReplyDeleteTwo things I'm love the fact that today is my Friday and the fact that today is my Friday! :)
Jars are such a fun thing to have. You can use them for so many things. Things currently making me happy are: the melting snow and looking at pictures and videos from my newborn nephews (they live out of state so facebook has been a lot of help)

ReplyDeleteRight now two things making me happy are Einstein snuggling on my lap and lunch with my sister at a fabulous restaurant!
I love jars too! Unfortunately, I don't have that much cabinet space to keep all of them. I just posted the other week about daffodils in a mason jar. Love the simplicity of flowers in the jars. I adore your basket of them with the ranunculus in them - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have been collecting, or rather, saving, baby food jars right now! We will have a ton! I would love to give them to you if you need them for your craft stuff or spices, please let me know!
ReplyDeleteSimple things I love right now: watching my baby grow! He crawled all the way across the house to find me in my room, how sweet is that?
I have a bunch of ranunculus sitting on my dining table too!
