Look of the Day: Black & Yellow, Black & Yellow

I've been feeling like I'm in a bit of rut lately. Perhaps it's my self imposed shopping ban, or maybe it's the relentless weather that never seems to change. Either way I'm bored and can't wait to shake thing up! I've almost slipped back into my grey, black and white zone. Luckily I grabbed my yellow belt for a hint of color.
My friend Annie brought this dress back from Japan -- it's just so cute!!

    Woman, you just proved my point! Story time: A friend got this black and white pattern dress and she was asking me how to style it. I said "a yellow or bright pink belt would do wonders". She didn't believe me. So I am forwarding this post to her!

    I love the touch of yellow! It looks cold in the photos. I haven't busted out the spring clothes yet because there is still snow on the ground and I can't get rid of this chill. I don't think I've ever wanted the spring to get here as much as I do now. Stay warm!

    I love the pop of color from your belt! It's such a great way to incorporate yellow in any outfit.

    I try to wear light and neutral colors for spring all the time, and usually end up kicking myself for freezing in SF!
