I've been trying to figure out a good way to store my earrings for awhile now. and nothing seems to work all that great. But I recently saw a picture in C Magazine of of a Woman's vanity which had her jewelry spilling out of little bowls and platters. So I looked around my house for what I had and decided one of my vintage champagne coupes would be prefect to dangle earring off of.
It's the perfect solution for now and I didn't have to buy anything new! You can find champagne coupes at most antique stores and Goodwill's/Salvation Armies and depending on the quality they can be rather cheap, perfect for when you don't plan to use them for drinking!
I placed earrings that could but hung on the inside.
And I set up my ring bowl and an Amber container next to the coupe.
Inside the Amber container I stored some of my studs!
Incorporating a Green lifestyle, like re-purposing or shopping for vintage and used items is another great thing to attempt in the New year!
I recognize a pair of earrings there!
ReplyDeleteMy jewelry is about to an extreme organization this weekend, I couldn't be more excited. I always try to find unique ways that make my jewelry seem like art, and still easy to reach.
Great ideas, I will definitely be using some of these tips!
ReplyDeleteA blog sale sounds exciting! I have all my jewelry in old bowls and dishes I find for cheap! My favourite is a pink glass one I got for 50p! I love your idea of a champagne coupes!
