Things I Love: Cynthia Vincent Wedges

One of my favorite pairs of shoes is my Twelfth Street for Cynthia Vincent Luella Wedges, so naturally when Target snagged Cynthia Vincent as one of there featured designers, I freaked. I crossed my fingers that I would be able to snag a pair of the shoes. I ended up with the cognac wedges and the yellow flat sandals. Both of which you will see often in future Look of the Day Posts.
I took a few pictures to just show how good the Target wedges look compared to the $400 Cynthia Vincent Wedges. The Target ones clearly don't feel as nice and I can't see them lasting nearly as long (especially if I wear them as much as my Luella's) but I love the look of them for the price.
I loved the cute Yellow Boxes!
The Yellow sandals are still available here.
Similar side view, the Luella's are solid wood.
Even the tags look similar.
Both are very comfortable.
The Luella's higher strap is a little more flattering.
Keep your eyes peeled and keep checking online, I have heard about people spotting the shoes popping back up. Good luck ladies! And as great as the Target ones are, I still also HIGHLY recommend the Twelfth Street Cynthia Vincent Luella's I have had them for a year now and they are going to be in good shape for years, I cannot say the same for the target ones.

  9. Thanks for the update on the Target find, I snagged the mustard color wedges the Cognac were Sold out! BTW upon your previous post "May I Suggest." I purchased the reusable coffee mugs and they were a hit as a birthday gift for my sister an avid chai tea latte drinker. Now she can drink, and drive, and refill!
    Thanks for the great suggestion.

  10. Thanks for posting, they look fantastic on you! I cannot wait for mine to arrive! How does the heel height compare on the Target versions vs. the Luellas?

  14. As soon as I saw this, I rushed out and bought myself a pair. Literally, as soon as I saw this post, which was at 9:37PM, and my Target closes at 10. Yes, I drove like a crazy woman. But I got 'em! Thanks :)

  15. Oh - love the comparison! I had one in my shopping cart online, but decided to go check them out in person first thing Sunday. Went to 2 Targets, and they didn't have a single wedge! And there were no empty shelves so I don't think we got them. I'm still so iffy since I've had a Target wedge (pleather) rub my feet all the wrong ways. I LOVE LOVE your Luella's and they Tgt version is pretty awesome too!

  16. Oooh I love this comparison post! Two of my friends recruited me to be their personal wedges shopper and oy, it was ridiculous the chase for these!

  17. omg Jeditrx! Glad you got them! That is the cutest comment ever!! =)

Diamonds and tulle oh that is too bad. I haven't worn these yet but around the house and the pleather is super soft, although that is one reasons i don't think they will last all that long.

Wow bonjouritsjinah you are a GOOD friend!!

  24. I thought about getting a pair of those...maybe this weekend I will head to Target and check them out. My major hesitate in buying is that I already have a pair of the CV Harper and they look exactly like the Target wedges except for those round studs on the sides. Still, they look fabulous on you and are perfect for spring/summer.

  25. love that we both bought the yellow ones too:) great minds think alike! i usually wear a 7 but they only had a 6.5 in the ring flats and i am hoping they work out:/ do you think it fits true to size? xoxo

  26. Although I would love an actual real deal pair of Cynthia Vincent shoes (thanks for the comparison), I figured the Target pair would be good enough until I can save up some pennies.
We got the same shoes, except I got the sandals in black. I can't wait to see how you wear them for some inspiration. :)
